White Pelicans
White Pelicans are migrating through our area. I've been down to a local dam where they congregate, fish and rest. Early this morning, I visited the dam and shot this group across the river. The light was poor but good for high-constrast, white birds. I like how the pelicans are "posed" in various positions, preening feathers, watching and some are still asleep. Their white plumage reflects nicely off the dark water and against the dark green foliage. I've take several hundred pelican shots over several days and I find this is my favorite. Sorry, no flight shots. They were in no hurry to go anywhere.
Comments and suggestions welcome.

Re: White Pelicans
What a fantastic looking location to go and shoot birds.
That is a tough shot with the darker foreground\background and the bright white birds.
Can you decrease the highlights just a little on the birds with PP?

Re: White Pelicans
I like the composition and colors, I would reduce the highlights a bit though
