What we do for a photo!

Apparently NASA gets a little testy if they think you are pointing a camera at their offices, who knew. I was so excited to see a scissor-tailed fly catcher while I was driving down the road that I pulled into (just barely) the out drive of NASA's office(I think it's where they do the astronaut training) near my house. I was actually shooting towards an airforce landing field next to it. I am now on NASA's watch list, they took my license# name and address, the whole nine yards! Sad part, I didn't even get a great shot but I will share none the less. Only other photographers could understand

You really want to make 'em nervous?
Point it at them as they approach you and drive off just as they get to the car.

You might be able to get away with shooting "sensitive areas" if you were dressed like this...

That way, they wouldn't know who you are

Being on NASA's watchlist could present some interesting opportunities, Barbara. Satellites flying over your home, drones in your backyard, unidentifiable 'creatures' in your bushes. Make the most of it

Funny! And I'm sure they are monitoring your online activities so I won't say anything negative about them.

I knew you all could appreciate it. The more I think about it the more I laugh. I realize we live in a different world where there are those who want to do harm but I am not one of them I just wanted to get my bird shot! Also, If I were doing a "covert" spying operation I sucked at it. I was on the edge of a very busy street with a very obvious long beige lens out my window.

Barbara I am with Greg...Consider yourself lucky -- you do not have to use any arms to fend off bad elements coming near you or your house...you are fully protected... (know that I have been through 2 background checks when I applied for my Global Entry Card...it wasn't funny. Now they know all about you...they had done more than any background checks available at their disposal.)

If you had used a black lens, they would have recognized the superior brand and left you alone.
