Thanks everyone, greatly appreciate the comments.
IZZIE: I shot these from a kayak about 20m in distance. I first noticed the bird at about 350m, I slowly paddled toward it and stopped moving at about 100m letting the kayak drift towards the bird. At about 20m it began to fidget and slowly lifted off. I was too close to shoot the takeoff
The experience and being fortunate enough to be able to do this sort of thing is my reward, sharing the images with others is bonus.

Just want to add my accolades. Absolutely beautiful! And I know what you mean about the experience being the reward but it's always nice when you come away with such wonderful images to document it.
