Mississipi River Falls - Almonte ON Pano

One of the first panos I ever tried was at this location, and frankly while I did not love the image, I learned a lot about shooting them, so I headed back that way just before sundown last night and did a new one, which I am a lot happier with.

Nice image. Is the stitching together done in camera of with software?

Nicely done, great lighting capture in the background.

I use Photoshop to do the stitching, but the latest version of Lightroom has this functionality, as does Camera Raw. I have not tried it with these tools yet.

Very competently done (as I would expect from you...) I enjoyed peering around it full size in light-box.

Techs are nicely handled, Manfred. Looks like it was a lovely evening.

Did I remember you once shooting this place at night? Or was that a different place? Anyway, this is a nice, clear image and the two sea gulls are more prominent if one looks at it in lytebox. Superb image.

This feature was introduced in ACR 9.0 (and in the latest release of Lightroom as well).

In Bridge, click on all of the images that make up the pano. These will all be displayed in a "filmstrip" on the left hand side of the ACR screen. Select one of the shots and make all of the global adjustments on it, and then either right click or use the fly-out button on the top of the menu and use the "Synch settings" item to make the global adjustments. Once this is done, again with the fly-out menu or the right mouse click, bring up the menu again and select the "Merge to Panorama" menu item.

HDR can be done the same way in ACR 9.0

Thanks Manfred I already knew about how the'synch settings' worked but I didn't know about the 'merge to panorama' item which can be activated with a right mouse click.

This looks great Manfred I do like the ability to make the panorama bigger to look around in.
