Helpful Posts: I have the habit of monitoring the local sticks and bricks on the web for used equipment and could not refuse a near mint D750, and a nikkor 70-200 f/4 vr (Nas is a terrible affliction). I am blown away by the low light capability of this combo! I have quite a portfolio of studies of poorly lit light switches. All that I can say is birdies watch out, daddy has a new toy.

I like the quality of bokeh produced by this lens. Very smooth and creamy! IMO, that is a very necessary attribute of a long focal length lens because with shallow DOF, much of the frame is (purposefully) OOF...
However, something is strange about the image of the gobbler #1. Is it over sharpened?

Looks like the focus is in front of the bird and them the sharpness was cranked up to try to make the bird look sharper.

The turkey was a long way out in that field, thus is a very severe crop that I probably never should have done. Also hand held and that probably did not help

Is this the 70-200mm F4 lens you are using here...??
I like all of these shots apart from the turkey ... that is a little bit too soft for me...now that I am learning birdies. But I love the dandy little lion.
that is a different shot. Very very good exposure too. A FF camera is really dandy to have...The river is my favourite apart from the dandy. It is nicely converted to with lots of data. Excellent texture shot of the Pine. The honeysuckle is more an artistic shot in my eyes ...
Have fun playing with your new toy....
Photography is really very addictive once you get down into it...especially if you got new accessories to play with it.
