When I'm not coloring photos, I'm generally thinking about photographing Jumping Spiders. I went out today in search for some and didn't find any. I did find a few cool things to photograph while on my walk though. Enjoy.

Clear subjects and well constrained backgrounds.
We get a beetle over here which looks identical to your first unidentified bug. Cantharis rustica.
