Lost in Paradise (My first panoramic)

Went for a drive earlier just to scout a few locations and got a bit lost, but I spotted this view and decided to try a handheld panoramic shot. Its only 5 images stitched together, C&C welcome.

Looks good to me, nice location.

    Something I have never tried.

This is a nice image of a fine location. My problem with panoramas is that it is hard to display them to full advantage. The only solution is a large print but that is too expensive for me.

Nicely done, Matt. I'd love to get lost in that area. Personally, I haven't like most of the panos I've attempted- too many cropping decisions, I reckon, but your shot works very nicely.

i've had to crop out more than I would of liked on this one due to some bad overlapping.

This was my first visit to this area and it was getting dark but I will be going back there, if I can remember the way

It works well Matt. Nice light used well. But I think there is a bit of a wonky horizon going on. I do a lot of handheld panoramics (hate tripods) and horizons can be an issue. I would definitely return to the spot and use the viewfinder marks as a guide for the horizon.
On the matter of printing - consider splitting the image into three separate sections framed separately, like three windows looking out onto the scene.

Very nice Matt...I like the view from here...Handholding panorama is so much easier for me than getting the tripod out of the car.

There is a wonky horizon, well spotted I am definitely going back here as I'm pretty sure the sun sets bang in the centre of the image.

Love the play of light and cloud in the background and the light on the green hills in the foreground.
