Flooded street
A band of afternoon thunderstorms dumped about 3.5 inches of rain in a couple of hours resulting in many flooded streets. Drivers pay little attention. C&C always.

Re: Flooded street
I was dodging last weeks storms while traveling between Dallas and Durant, Oklahoma. Luckily didn't see anything as bad as shown. Nicely captured image.

Re: Flooded street
That does not look like a lot of fun. I suspect there must have been a lot of stalled cars around as water got into the electrical systems.

Re: Flooded street
We had 7 inches night before last, lucky for us it didn't do any damage and we were all snug in our beds! Would not have thought to take that shot. Nice!

Re: Flooded street
We had thunderstorms yesterday afternoon too, with all the bells and whistles that bothered the dogs.... right after I had watered the newly created garden patch I just did, but our streets here are hilly and undulating so no such kinds of flooded street our way...In flat areas they are quite bad, but I haven't been into one, let alone photograph it either...this image seems to be common in reportage shots in the news...good one!

Thanks to all for viewing and commenting. I enjoy shooting when it is raining, something different.
