    Bumblebees

The sun is finally out and I took several pictures of bumblebees feeding. Used my new Canon 100mm 2.8L lens. I am learning to be quicker on the shutter. All at f7.1. Need to try different f stops for more DOF. C&C always welcome.

    Dave,
Very nice shots!Really like the colours. The flowers compliment the bee nicely.
    I shoot with the 100 2.8 non-L.Extremely sharp lens.
To give you an idea,on a crop body, at f/11 the DoF will put the flowers the bee is on in #1 in focus.
I've been debating on buying the 100 L.I shoot mainly handheld and would love to have the IS for natural light shots, but I'm still getting good results with mine as long as I use flash.
Would love to hear your impressions of the lens after you've spent some time with it.
