    Mother Goose

I have on loan, a Tamron 150-600. We drove to the bird sanctuary
to try it out mid afternoon. This family was swimming by and I rushed to capture
them before they disappeared thus the slight out of focus.
    I would appreciate C&C.

That's really very nice Irene and mum's eye looks sharp enough to me.

Canada Geese may be commonplace (even in the UK) but this shot is far from commonplace. I particularly like the reflections of the green background.

Yes, I was wondering about cropping or slightly toning down the green reflection which seemed to be slightly overwhelming a very good scene.

#2 because of the cropping gives a sense of motion, I would like to see a little less cropping top and bottom (not by much) it feels a little too squeezed. A little less hot would be interesting to compare. Very nice shot.

Thank you Barbara, you did come to mind when I was viewing these shots later.
I realized that trying to capture birds in flight / motion is not a one time endeavour.
