3 Images from the Beach yesterday (Monochrome)

The weather has been terrible here this weekend but I needed to shoot something so I headed for the beach to see what I could find.

These are 3 very different shots for me so any feedback is greatly appreciated.

*Note: That thing sticking out of the water is the remains of a shipwreck from 1887*

Very nice, especially the third one; for a while i thought #2 and #3 to be single image together

Nice effort, weird effects in the second, looks like an applied blur to the surf and some sort of halo around rock formation.

Thanks, no blur applied just a slower shutter speed but I think I've over sharpened it.

I like the scene in #3 better. It tells more of the story in the image itself.

Hi Matt I like #2 and #3. I would clone the black little spots in the water in #2 as they distract a bit.

I thought the blur in 2 was just water on the lens from the weather - good effect however you created it. All three are great captures, but the third is excellent - the surfers are just in the right part of the frame and those footprints perfect.

#3 is really good. The surfers add so much to the image and the long trail of footprints is icing on the cake for me.

I like #2 the best and I think you captured them all pretty well. I however just realized that I prefer beach and surf scenes in color.
