Re: Spider
Great shots, David, but good grief! "...lying on the ground beneath her"? I immediately checked the EXIF for lens length, and 100mm Macro would never be enough for me for such a maneuver. But bravery well rewarded, in any case.

Re: Spider
Thank's Mark, I have been switching between my 5d and 7d lately, the 7d would have kept me a tad further away but not a great deal, I was experimenting with an extension tube on as well which got me even closer

Re: Spider
It's spring time and David is once again down in the dirt. Both great shots, detail is amazing. While I believe in a firm understanding of place, between myself and spiders, they are just one of the most amazing critters. When we gonna see some more jumpers?

Re: Spider
By 'underneath her' I taken it that you were at ground level, looking up at her. I am impressed which the DoF. How were these shots lit? Anyway, these ahre amazing shots.

Re: Spider
The first one is laughing at you, David...the second one with the position of the front paw says "Come 'ere, you funk!"
(OK...I am jealous of your shots, but don't tell anyone....
