Just a thought... have you considered putting a little texture into the background to enhance the smoothness of the flowers?
I find the stepped/tiered effect very nice. It draws me right to the top flower.

Very sharp and beautiful colour. Would be much better if shot on a different angle though so the lower flower on the LHS and the back flower on the RHS can be seen too nicely...separation from the background looks good too.
