Wildlife Heritage Foundation - BIG Cats
Spent Saturday at the WHF in Kent. This is not open to general public, really only for photographers. You are given access between the barriers and the actual wire surrounding the area where the cats are.
They are breeding some of the very rare cats who face extinction.

Re: Wildlife Heritage Foundation - BIG Cats
I love it, David! And it's too cool to give access to photographers: usually we're trying to poke cameras over people's shoulders.
Big cats are the scariest thing going: when I see these guys, I remember the Tarzan movies and laugh. When Tarzan fights a leopard or tiger. They're the ultimate predators.
I like the snow leopard better: the ear tufts on the lynx seem to cry out for a full-face treatment. Not your fault, of course.
Cheers,
Rick

Nice chance to get to see the Big Cats, Dave. I have a small comment though: for the leopard, wouldn't it be better if you had changed the angle a bit so that the iris (or pupil ?) of the eye can be seen ? I have always been in awe with the eyes of the cats' family.
