Helpful Posts: Lucky had a family drive from their home in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles to our rescue event at Irvine in Orange County with the express intention of adopting him. Lucky is a darling Yorkshire terrier.
They picked Lucky BECAUSE of what could have TURNED OFF other adopters. Lucky had lost his left eye due to a severe infection. I shot this image soon after the surgery. The surgery wound has healed a bit since that time.
His new furever family is just wonderful. This image was shot by a volunteer with her cell phone...
The son has tested out at above genius level and has been offered a full expense scholarship to Harvard University and is attending an elite prep school in Los Angeles also under a full scholarship. His sister is also exceptionally intelligent and was awarded a scholarship to the same prep school.

Lucky's new family is proof that stereotyping is not only wrong, it is incorrect. The concept of racial stereotyping is totally Un-American and Un-Canadian...

Lucky looks like a darling. Glad he has found a good home. It's wonderful to hear that those kids' gifts have been recognized. Any idea what they are interested in studying?

Good for Lucky...I have been watching at least an episode a day of Cesar Millan's video during one of my breaks. He has done a lot toward teaching people about rescue dogs and rehabilitating them and training the owners. I hope Lucky will be happy in his new home.
