    Silence of the Sheep

Another old photo I never got around to processing, this was a very strange scene to view at the time. C&C welcome

Nicely composed shot with the inclusion of the road/fence, nice placement of horizon, etc. It's a lovely landscape even w/out the sheep in it. If you are refering to the blue markings as "strange", I totally agree. The color is really out of place with the rest of the scene.

It's a beautiful scape, I love the lines and depth. Nice in the Lightbox, and there, maybe a little soft (? or maybe that's me), but in any case, I've come to understand that's not necessarily a problem in well-composed and lit landscapes like this one.

I like it very much! Do you know what the blue markings are for? Very interesting.

The blue marks mean these ewes have been mated. A marker is attached to the ram which transfers colour to each ewe. He has certainly been a busy boy amongst that flock!

A photo which has both width and depth.

WOW! He certainly has!!!! Just to clarify the mark is transferred during the actual "act"? That was a lot of ink!

Thanks everyone, the sky was a little bit blown. I've tried to bring it back as best as I can but I think I'm gonna head up there to do a re-shoot and possibly try a few more compositions.

Cheers David, hopefully it will be better again when I go back to re-shoot it. Not sure if the sheep will still be there though

    Thanks Grahame & Binnur.

I've just checked the weather forecast for the weekend and its not good, I'm hoping the rain will hold off though.
