For Mike Buckley and Other Glass Shooters

As I was perusing through my local Lowe's Home Improvement Center, I spied a product that might be helpful to Mike and our other Glass and Still Life Shooters. It is "Museum Wax" a sticky substance that allows you to temporarily hold items like glass in place and then to be able to remove the items with no damage to the item or to the surface on which it is resting.

It is carried in the section of my local home improvement center that carries supplies and tools for damage prevention during earthquakes.

Here is a YouTube video showing its use.

When I saw this item on the shelf in the store, I thought about Mike's image of the several wine bottles. Wine and the Letter "A" It seems that this museum wax would have been perfect to anchor the wine bottles in place.

Unfortunately, although Lowe's has it in stock on their sheves, you cannot find it on their web site by doing a search for either Museum Wax or Quake Wax. I seem to remember that this item costs about five dollars...

Here is another version I found on Amazon.

This is so very nice of you, Richard. I really appreciate you bringing the details to our attention. I have heard of Museum Wax but haven't yet had a need for it. As a result, I also haven't tried to find it. Now that you have posted the information, I'll buy some so it's immediately available once I come upon a situation in which it would be helpful.
