Very nice indeed, you had a great sky at that moment in time, great capture. Now something personal not to take anything away from the image, it is just me, I enjoy those that are B&W more than those with tones overlays, I just think that they are richer that way.

    Cheers: Allan

I don't know what the term, working, means to you but based on this monochrome and your previous one, you are achieving great success rather than coming up short and "working" toward improvement.

Both the light and the compositional elements lead our eye very nicely through the scene. Exceptionally well done!

Thanks for looking and commenting John There are a lot of tiny mussels on the rocks , pebbles on the shore and some small stones on the hill. I did some burning in order to make them less visible and less crisp.

I like everything about the conversion - really nice.

I also have one question - why does the building look so far out of alignment? It looks kind of awkward.

Binnur this is a beautiful image and the sky is truly stunning! One thing does intrigue me... is the glow at the base of the cliffs, leading up to the villa, an artefact of the conversion process? In any case, it 'highlights' the scrub on the cliff, and it's details like that which catch my eye and work for me.

Brian, excuse my English. If you are asking why the building is so far away and isolated, it is located in the military area.

I'm glad that you liked the conversion

What a beautiful conversion, Binnur. I truly like this one very much. As Kim said, the sky adds to the drama of the scene. Love it...Do you live far away from here?

Thank you Isabel I'm happy to see that members like my conversion. This means that I'm improving in B&W . This place is a small island . It takes about an hour to get to the ferry and the ferry takes you there in half an hour. It is actually a touristic island but there is also a military area because it is very close to the international waters.

Wonderful shot and conversion, I like the stark white of the building.
