    another newby question about lightroom

in the develop section under lens correction; profile, there is no listing for Olympus. Anyone help here? Is this something I can add?

Not really. Micro four-thirds actually encodes the lens correction information in the EXIF of the images, so there's no need for lens profiles. IIRC, Lightroom automatically uses the information. Panasonic does both distortion and lateral CA, iirc, but Oly only does distortion correction.

What model camera with what lens? Some newer superzoom cameras (including a few Olympus ones) do lens corrections in camera.

You can check with Adobe to make sure you have the latest updates.

Kathy is correct - this is standard procedure by the mFT manufacturers. Adobe products use the metadata and automatically apply the embedded lens correction data.

As a Panasonic shooter, I get the same thing. If I want an uncorrected view I have to use a RAW converter like Capture One which does not appear to apply the corrections.
