    Waterfall

I took this today and as always all C&C is welcome but note that the weather and light conditions where terrible. I needed it to be overcast and it was but as soon as I arrived the high high winds blew the clouds away, and almost blew me away on my way there and back. I had to slow the motor bike down to 25 mph the wind was that strong. Was a very frightful bike ride.

    Thanks for looking

Well done, Chris! Consider increasing the saturation though without overdoing it of course.

Consider cropping to eliminate the wedge of sky. Great potential here with a bit of PP.

That's a great idea. Making that crop forces my eye on the drama of the interesting foreground material, though I have no idea why.

Thank you Mike and Dan. This shot is the worst of the shots I took today and I am working on one of the better ones now and thanks to your idea of getting rid of the sky its an instant improvement. I will post results later.

It's a beautiful image! I love the viewpoint and rich colours. I too would crop the sky filling the frame with the sheer beauty of the scene captured, and perhaps also eliminate the wee branch sticking out on the far side.

It's a beautiful photo and a beautiful place. This is why I love this forum.

Hi Chris. Very nice shot . I agree with the other members about the crop. May I ask where you stood while shooting this image, in the water, on a rock ?

Hello Binnur. I was in the water for this shot. I get in the water for all my water shots. I find its the only way to get those unique viewpoints. Thanks.

With a very sturdy tripod of course.
