Seymour Skies
Just a few shots taken of here at home. Two of approaching storms from the South and one of a sunset behind the hill beside the house.
Thanks for viewing. And any cc's would be gratefully accepted, if you have the time to post them. Thank you.

Re: Seymour Skies
Hello Ken
I do like #2 best. Great, dark clouds above a sunlit landscape. I personally would crop it a little bit from bottom (leaving out the bush-tree line) and from the right (getting rid of the half-tree).
#1 has also a great sky, but for me too many distracting elements (trees, bushes, a half buried barrel?).
#3 excellent colors but in my opinion the antennas are not adding anything to the picture.

Re: Seymour Skies
Ken - these are great skies well captured. I especially like the second. Something to think about if you were going to make a print of it is that I think maybe it could use a little noise reduction.
Also - there is a bit of something on your sensor I believe, about a tenth of the way down and a quarter of the distance across from the left margin.

Re: Seymour Skies
I like them all. I think you did a fine job keeping the tones in check, nothing to hot or to dark.

Re: Seymour Skies
Excellent series!
If I had to choose one I think id choose number 1 because I love the contrasting colours between land and sky plus the shapes of the clouds are very interesting. Good job.

Re: Seymour Skies
Spectacular clouds, just wonderful.
#3 I would like to see the towers to the right, then a clear foreground.
Easy to say, sometimes not easy to do.
Spectacular series.

Re: Seymour Skies
Fabulous. Like the storms the best, the clouds are just remarkable.

Re: Seymour Skies
I like all three because cloud formations fascinates me. The second photo is the most appealing, there is distant rain coming down diagonally across the horizon and the multiple layers of shades of blue make the photo outstanding.

Re: Seymour Skies
I like all three, Ken...
#1 and #2 are really good in that the cloud formation and upcoming storm makes it exciting...
#3 the burning skies is beautiful to say the least.

Re: Seymour Skies
I am going to be a pain in the neck because I like #1 the best. Perhaps convert it to B&W also. That is only
my opinion.

Re: Seymour Skies
Good captures of those skies Ken, difficult to resist I expect.
No 1 is top of the list for me, the contrast of that sky plus the light on the grass and I get the impression of radio/TV waves radiating from the transmission towers.
