    Sunset East and Sunset West

The sun finally showed up tonight. We had rain, snow and sun today. Sunset east over the Mission Mountains and West over the house. Hard to figure out which way to turn. I need a rotating chair.

Looking East to the Missions. 6000 ft from base to summits.

    Dave,

Very nice images. The trees in the foreground of the first photo look a bit fuzzy. Did you do HDR on this image or use a fast lens?

No HDR on either. Just as it came out of the camera. Used the Canon 28-135mm 2.8. Had to crop the mountains picture to eliminate some houses and vehicles. Should have cut more of the trees out but....

That image of the Missions is, to put it simply and succinctly, gorgeous.

Okay, the stuff at the bottom is, it could be argued, a bit of a distraction, but I think it's okay. It gives context. The lighting is majestic.
