Comet Lovejoy!
Finding the comet with the help of my daughter was a breeze and we saw it through our 10 x 50 binocs as a very faint smudge. Pointed the camera with 85mm lens and took a single 6 secs exposure. Was enough to get the comet through LP and rising moon.

Haseeb,
I'd prefer a black sky, not sure if its my monitor or your WB.

Re: Comet Lovejoy!
I suspect, but may be wrong, that that sky is affected by haze reflecting ambient light. Nice to see that you got the comet, it's been way too cloudy where I am.

None this way either...too much city lights and some occasional tinnie-weenie glimpse of the sky at times. Too cold to be out and about too...I'm dying to go home to Australia during these season...

John, its the haze combined with light dome effect not to mention a rising moon, as Graham mentioned.
