Sunset Over Hassens
Last night, i had a blast of time, hanging with a good friend who is into photography, and as well as mucking around. She is getting better with her photography each time, and love seeing her progress.
I havent really done sunsets before, so im sure the photo isnt up there with what i would call the best but i believe its pretty dam good!
Settings:
Canon 6D with a 28-75mm tamron lens
28mm - f/4.5 - 1/160th - ISO 100
As for the editing goes, done some local adjustments in camera raw such as exposure, highlights, shadows. And then some sharpening in PS CC. With a slight crop. If i were to do it again, i would compose my shot so the rockface wasnt showing. But all in all, i think im in the right step forward with this!
Would love your thoughts and opinions!

Very nice Allen, nice to have a friend with such a good common interest.

Nice image, I would perhaps crop most of the foreground and take those slopes into a silhouette; while adding more warmth to the sunset. However, what you've captured is perhaps more to your own vision.

+1 to John's comment, message #3. Everything he said...
It looks like a beautiful place to shoot. Moving the image in lytebox helps to get your composition right...I like it with the "rock" on the right side or perhaps zoomed in to your subject in post to show more of the burgah?

Re: Sunset Over Hassens
I'd burn the dams, Allen. The are far too bright for this image - and probably crop as John suggested.
