    rocket on the rocks

sunrise at my favorite rocky beach in florida. it wasn't everything i'd hoped for so i photographed some toys i'd brought along just in case.

10" solid steel rocket. this is the reason why i rarely make friends with the tsa agents when i fly.

Are these your toys you are photographing? I like the first one, especially the length where the rocket is positioned -- there is an ogre at the left side of shot...I see a pair of eyes and it is more interesting to me than the rocket...I wonder why????

thanks izzie, much appreciated. yes, i'm an adult and these are my toys, i love my scifi toys. might i suggest an anti-hallucinogen? it'll probably make the ogre go away quicker than the clone tool could. just kidding, i actually never saw the eyes until you pointed it out. looks more like grimace from mcdonalds to me.

Funny thing is lately when the wife and I go to a second hand store I find myself in the toy isle looking for cool stuff to photograph.

You and I are the same in this manner here of looking for toys. Or at Goodwill stores. My last toys at Walmart ended up as a place card (sitting arrangement on the dinner table on top of the main plate.)

using toys as the seating arrangement placecards is a great idea, i may have to steal that one.
