    Kovalam - Chennai.

Went on a short one day visit to Kovalam and took a few images. I used a 77mm CPL filter and the outcome was pretty good. Overcast conditions even though sunny. C&C welcome. Hope you like them.

Basically OK, Haseeb although for me the second scene lacks any point of interest. I think I would crop slightly from the bottom and use a different size ratio. Reducing the amount of foreground sand puts more emphasis on the far distance and the sky; both of which have interest.

The third one seems a bit dark in the foreground. I would try to selectively brighten it but without increasing the wave highlights.

I feel the same as Binnur....I love the textures of the rocks. #2 does nothing for me either and Geoff had given you a good advice there. In #3 I thought at first that the centre rock is a large snake curled up. Expanded in lytebox and it isn't. I would have been scared if it was...

Like no 1 how did you process it, it looks a little surreal, is the banding in thse sky from the cpl, cloud, or just my monitor?

Thanks..maybe I should crop that out. I was interested in the whole picture with the spray drops.

You guessed it Mark, used Photomatix a bit and I was also using a CPL. Maybe due to size / res the banding could be seen?
