    Droplet Jewels. C&C Welcome

Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

Please provide your views and suggestion with composition, frame, crops and processing.

    Thank You

    Droplet Jewels. C&C Welcome

Update #1 : Crop the top with 5 x 4 crop and toned down the top leaf.

Nice idea but for me this isn't quite working to maximum impact.

Are the shadows a little too dark?

But the main problem is the top leaf which has maximum highlight reflection area, from the drops, but is out of focus. This, to me, just causes distraction.

Maybe, crop out the top leaf and go to 5 x 4 ratio? But that does mean 'finishing' on a partial leaf, not a whole leaf.

Or possibly, selectively tone down that leaf so it isn't so dominating?

Let me agree with Geoff and Binnur; interesting concept, but too dark in the shadow detail. I think this is one shot that needed a bit of light pushed in during the shot to create more contrast and separation.

Hi Raj, this is a question of taste but for me this shot would be better with more variation in colour. Water drops, again in my opinion, are more interesting when they reflect something.

Raj - I think this is an improvement over the initial image, but somehow it just isn't working for me.

I suspect that the issue for me is that there are too many drops of water. A single drop or even a few would stand out on the leaves, but there are so many, my eyes just don't know where to focus, so my brain gives up looking.

Thanks a lot for your valuable review and suggestion. I got the point about the flow and Point of interest, I will reshoot the leaves as suggested in my next shoot after the rain.
