Great shot: you had your eyes open there, Ron!

The Felis Catus shies away from the Mus Musculus.
I've had the same problem all too often. Brings a live mouse into the house then loses interest!
Yup, was doing that a couple of weeks ago, fortunately, after 1/2 hour of messing around, we captured it and released it back into the garden, so hopefully it lived to tell the tale (tail?).
"Puss" thought it was still indoors and sat and watched where it was last for another couple of hours
What are the chances of getting such a great shot? Silly kitty

Get a neighbour with a shed about to fall down and full of stuff
And then be prepared to wait and wait and wait for the action.
Think it will be my last mouse shot!
Oh and so far this young cat has also presented us with a bird and a mouse indoors. To stop him getting into the bedroom we jamb the door partly open (for airflow ... this is getting personal ) but now I also must find a way to stop an escaping mouse Don't want one of these running amok in the bedroom.
Cor, look at all the fun I could be having if I had a pussy. Actually I had the cops round for tea one Sunday and whilst we were supping my favourite beverage a mouse walked right in front of the fire stood on its back legs and twitched its nose.
I had never seen one before, it must have come in for a warm.
Anybody wants to talk about the picture?
