    Industry by night

    This shot was taken an hour after sunset. As there was no appreciable colour in the sky I opted for mono as this, in my mind, represented the industrial feeling. C&C appreciated.

    My first reaction was to think there is too much water in the foreground. If you were to crop it from the bottom to make it say a 3:1 ratio pano, (is it 2.5:1 at the moment?) I think that might balance it a bit better. Just a thought.

    . Thank you. I think it does. Here is the new cropped version:- Is this enough? Or should I loose some sky too?

    An alternative would be to crop the sides and concentrate more on the reflection in the water.

    Either way, getting closer to the 'action' will help.
