Beautiful scenery over there...it needs a little bit more vibrance I suppose... I like the inclusion of the geese...

Lovely shot Kim, I really like the composition. I agree with Izzie in that you could add a little vibrance and I'd also add a bit of sharpening.

I can see why this scene brings you tranquility - it affects me the same way. Well done.

Kym I think the adjustments you have made give it a nice lift (but not overdone).

Ooppps...late again. Kim---this is certainly better than the first one, not overdone either. Love it...are you and your family intending to move to NC? You are in a nice place here...with all these photo ops around you. My husband and I once intended to move to NC at one stage 4 years ago but I changed my mind later on because I seemed to notice that we are only moving because we have a few of his friends live over there (not a good reason for me). Then Tennessee, much better but not have much time to go around looking around Nashville where I want really...

Thanks Izzie. Was thinking about it as I have a hard time with my arm/hand in the cold. That part of NC was not right for us thou - much too rural. Have heard good things about TN. Will have to check that out.

Central USA is much better than the South really. I used to not like it here in Missouri when we first moved in here but at that time, Missouri is the hub of the airline industry, my husband being a commercial pilot, so I have not much choice at the time. Now that Missouri fell out of the grace of the FAA, I began looking for a much cheaper alternative to live in with lots of space to at least build a landing strip for hubby's little hobby but not large enough to maintain. Researching, Tennesee is 14.3% lower than the average cost of living though meat is pricier. Alaska would have been nicer, but it is freaking cold; so is Wyoming at the end of the world; Texas would have been nice, but it is too near the border for one and too flat for my taste. I prefer a lakefront or waterfront property and Tennessee has a lot of that and view, lots of beautiful view. We go there every year for our annual fly-in but only lately gone wandering to the Rockies and waterfalls in the surrounds. We attended a wedding there recently and it is near Nashville and asking people around who lives in the area, most said Nashville is a high-falluting place. I do not want to live in the city so when we go back, I will research more the surrounds of Nashville than inside Nashville itself. I still have 8 months give and take to make up my mind. About 10-15 acres will be nice...Florida will have been nice but I am allergic to bugs and too much water around there, so a little investment there goes a long way.Tennessee only tax dividends and interest income. Every state need an income so whatever you do not have as a tax in one states makes up for another kind somewhere else to rip your wallet from. Give and take, I like Tennessee for its view and photo op but I am not telling that to my husband...he's got a lot of flying friends there too but they are not as important at the one from Florida -- and I don't like Florida. I like the castle doctrine of Missouri though...I do not know much of Tennessee yet. If I have to take into consideration castle doctrine and weather, Missouri is nicer -- we can have good warmer weather here so we might not move, but move out of this house to go build in a wider property we want. We need to balance our needs too....My husband being an airplane freak, he goes to our hangar almost everyday so we need a property that can accommodate a hangar and landing strip for his planes and still be within the property. I prefer him coming home for lunch...
