Helpful Posts: This was taken in the morning and there was a heavy mist over the pond, made some pretty light. This is not cropped, should I crop it closer? What about the vignette, is it too dark?

A pleasant duck photo, nothing wrong with the crop apart from maybe a tilt to level it. I like the vignetting but as you obviously suspect it is a little over done. Try and get some life into the eye.

I wouldn't crop it at all. It is good the way it is. I would, however, lighten the vignette ever so slightly. Otherwise, nice shot of a hen mallard.
