At that distance, it doesn't HAVE to hit.

Wendy, How long did you have to wait for the duck to come to the RIGHT spot?!

About half and hour. I was taking pictures of the cannon and was about to leave when some ducks went by and from where I was standing the cannon was pointed right at them as they swan by. They were gone before I could get the shot so I waited and tried to set up the angle. Technically it's not a very good shot. The duck is not sharp at all. Three went by in a row, and this is the best shot. I'm not very good under pressure, but I think I got the angle right. It's another one of those "try again" shots.

LOL, I get it now - that one went right over my head.

Glad to hear you're off the pills, hope the shoulder is soon back to normal. These things take such a long time to heal sometimes. It's a good time to catch up on reading, but I suppose even that is difficult with a bad shoulder. Anyway take care, hope your soon good enough for some countryside treks.
