Thread: Adobe DNG convertor

    Adobe DNG convertor

    My DNG converter doesn't seem to work any more (have not used it for a while) It loads program but when I go to specify the source file it brings up a folder pane, then fades, then crashes the program. Downloaded the latest version and deleted all old files - the same. In the end I created shortcut to converter on desktop, opened Bridge and dragged the files to the desktop converter link, and it works!

    Anyone had similar problems? It's worth converting, especially if you have 5D, or 50D which has big files, as it saves a lot of space. Here http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

    Haven't had this particular issue, but you might like to try deleting the associated registry entries. Also, are you running the executable, or via a shortcut to the executable?

    Start -> run.

    REGEDIT <enter>

    Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> SOFTWARE -> ADOBE.

    Right-Click on DNG Converter and choose DELETE.

    Hope this helps!
