Keep taking the pills William they seem to be working quite well![]()
Beautiful images! I love the muted background that compliments the subject!
Very nicely done! The Kuso exif viewer says f/3.5, which seems very wide for this DOF. Is that correct? Did you stack?
Gorgeous lighting! Everyone who doesn't go back and forth when viewing them in the Lytebox is missing out on quite a lot of cleverness.
Breathtakingly beautiful!
Aah, yes and no...using a 180 macro lens with extension tubes, I took a series at f/3.5 and stacked those for background purposes only. Then for increased subject image quality, I took another series at f/11 and stacked those as well. Next I did a selection of the main subject and imported it into the f/3.5 series. The Kuso exif viewer says f/3.5, which seems very wide for this DOF. Is that correct? Did you stack?
For some reason PS CC does a terrible job in stacking the partial OOF areas as it took a lot of going back and forth between the virgin images and the stacked results.
Am I being clear on all that?
Mike, I wasn't sure if that would be noticed.
Thanks guys.![]()
These are wonderful.
Stunning.
Irene
I like the softness and colours very much![]()
I like this image well enough that I'm gonna reshoot, getting closer yet, with the goal being to cough
out a really big print using photomerge as well as more stacking.
In the meantime...is there any little thing that could be done better?
There are two tiny places on either side of the central part of the flower at the top where there is little or no separation between the flower and the background. Correct that and you've attained perfection.
If the two places aren't apparent due to my lousy explanation, let me know. I'll be happy to download your image and properly disfigure it to easily show you the two (repeat: tiny) places.
