    I Won't Bee Beaten

One too many drops has seen the focus on my iPhone 5 main camera stuck at its default six inches point. That though is not going to stop me using it while I sort out a repair and wait for the 6 to launch next month - I just need to bee () a little more determined to find a shot I can capture.

Thats pretty neat for an iPhone shot Robin It amazes me the quality images you can achieve with them at times.
Did you have the phone resting on something or handheld, exif says it was 1/125 sec so its a good effort to get it this sharp if handheld. Did you do much in pp.

Yep - shot with an iPhone 5

It is handheld, focus was a case of moving in and out until it looked sharp as the lens is locked at about 6". Processing wise I have cropped it, twiddled the usual LR sliders and sharpened it for screen viewing. It wouldn't print large like a shot from a DSLR would but for sharing online it's fine. That said I have printed a lot of iPhone images some up to 15x10" and so long as you are careful with the entire process from taking to hitting print the results are frankly remarkable.

According to Wikipedia; for an iPhone 5 (not 5S) about 4.54 x 3.42 mm, or 15.50 mm sq. which gives a crop factor of 7.61.

    What he said - probably

Its tiny but for close up shots that can be advantageous.
