    Neglected Marine Iguana

Hi. I just reworked this image, shot on my recent visit to the archipelago. I included both a colour and a monochrome bordered version of it. Please click it, for better viewing. I hope you like it! C&C are welcomed. Thanks for viewing!

I think the tones of the subject and the background are too similar fro it to work well as a B & W. The colour version is a very powerful image.

That's one magnificent fella Otavio, beautifully worked but it has to be the colour version.

Since we have been talking about selective colouring in another post recently, I thought this is selectively coloured...I like #1 better than the others. As usual coming from you, this is very sharp and the pose is almost foreboding...how big is this creature...it looks very primitive.

Agreed that the quality of the color version is superb for the reasons already mentioned.

Hi, Donald. Thanks for your feedback. I agree with you about the BW version. I also prefer the colour. Kindest regards,

Thank you, Izzie. This one was probably about 80 cm long and 5~8 Kg (rough estimate). And they really look primitive! .

    Cheers,

Allow me to echo what has been said, great image.
Should you desire to get creative...imagine him crawling over the lip of a raging volcano.

Hi Otavio I like the colour version very much, but I think the white border is so thick that it spoils the beauty. I would use a very thin black border if the image was mine. I loved the posture.
