Mark, those are nice converted shots, no blocked blacks...but they doesn't look old enough
to date from the mid 1800's...is it used to mine gold today or to help with your current water shortage...or to help pay for your water shortage.![]()
It was one of the old mining ditches that has been maintained and is still in use. The flume is now a steel where it was wood at one time. all the wood that exists has been replaced over time. there are quite a few here still in use this is a small one.
This one is used for irrigation mostly.
