    "Let there be water"

Dear fellows, this image was shot a while back. I've converted it to monochrome this morning, though. The main reason to convert to mono was the dramatic skies, bringing, to me, a sensation of "forces of nature". Does it work for you? C&C welcomed. Thank you for viewing! I don't recall the original but the cloud formations definitely would enhance either color or b & w. Nicely done.

This works for me though I think I would like it better if there was less contrast in the sky competing with the rushing water.

I think its beautiful in B&W, but I do remember the colour version and for me that one was exceptionally beautiful.

I'd say you achieved your "forces of nature" theme. That was exactly my impression as soon as I saw the image and prior to reading your text. A very powerful image. I'll leave it to the B/W experts to comment further on the processing.

Hi Otavio B&W is nice, but if you uploaded the colour , I would most probably go for the colour . Very nice place, I can feel the cool water even in B&W.

Thanks, Mike, for your feedback. I will play with sky contrasts later and see the result. Thanks for the tip. Cheers,

Hi, Binnur. Thanks for your comments. Just for your information, the place is Iguassu Falls, in the border between Brazil and Argentina (shot from the Brazilian side). This was elected one of world's seven wonders of nature, in a worldwide votation! Regards,
