Great day at the Bison Range. Finally had a small herd on the winter drive. One large bull (1200+ lbs est) lots of females and last years young. Interesting when you have to look up at the Bison as you sit in your car. You forget how big these beasts are.
The range was established in 1908 to help reestablish the nearly extinct bison. One great success story.

Excellent! Well done.
I think I'd like 3 better if the crop were tighter - from just below the eye to the dark patch of fur between the eyes up to the horn and then over. Basically, to eliminate that bright background area to the left.

Nice photos, looks like the food source is sparse or are these animals fed by the parks department? I didn't see anything on the website.
