Brian, this is a beautiful creature
If you can shoot closer I'm sure this creature will give really nice images. I don't know if you have the suitable lens for closer shots.

Possibly a fraction cropped from right side and bottom but I wouldn't want to lose too much from the seed head background.

I can technically get as close as 2 Cm with my camera but then it is an entirely different shot and there is a greater chance of scaring the cricket. But I was not very far away. Maybe 4 or 5 Cm. Originally Posted by bnnrcn
