wireless flash on canon50d
hi everyone,
i just have my canon eos 50d last january, i paired it with the ff lens,
50mm f/1.8
55-250mm
and sigma 17-70mm os hsm macro
what i am planning to have next is a wireless flash,
my question is, does my camera compatible with a wireless flash?
this is my first DLSR...

Yes, it is compatible. If you want to trigger off-camera flash-guns you can use one of the STE2 units here http://www.warehouseexpress.com/cate...=3115&brand=37 I use one, and it works very well. It is not cheap, for what it is. But then what is?
If you want to trigger studio flash lights such as Bowens, Elinchrom etc, then you can choose from a variety of either infra-red or radio signal triggers. They all work on the 50D as far as I know. In fact, your pop-up flash on the 50D (you know, that crappy little light on top) will trigger most studio lights. Just cover the pop-up with something so it doesn't interfere with the studio light levels.
