Great series - photographically and ornithologically. The emerging maple leaves in the first three help show the season nicely.

I especially like the 1st image for the beautiful capture of the bird, nice light and gorgeous colours, and your use of the background and those especially pretty leaves and buds. If it were my image I'd likely crop a little off of the bottom only because the little branch in the lower right hand corner pulls my eye away from the beautiful bird.
