Dying Moments
This is the wreck of the MS Riverdance, a RoRo ferry that operated across the Irish sea. During a storm in January 2008, a broadside hit from a wave shifted her cargo and she started to list. She subsequently lost an engine and finally beached on the shore just north of Blackpool. All attempts to re float her failed and when this was taken, she was in the process of being cut up. The sunset marking of the end of the day during the imminent end of her days struck me as being poignant. Hence the title.

Re: Dying Moments
Beautiful colours, John. I would be inclined to crop a bit off either the left or the right depending on what you want the main subject to be. At the moment I find the sun and the boat are competing for attention.

Re: Dying Moments
Agree with all of the above. Also, great treatment of light in what must have been quite a broad dynamic range.

Re: Dying Moments
Thanks all for your comments. Yes Mark, the shadows needed quite a lot of PP.
