A walk along the Gower at Rhossili

The Gower peninsular in West Wales. The beach is called Rhossili. The headland in shots 2/3 is called Worms Head. All shot yesterday. The building in shot #1 is owned by the National Trust and is used as a holiday cottage - but it's booked about two years in advance. Fantastic spot.

    C+C welcome.

The first shot can be used as an illustration for a geography textbook. :P

    Agree with that
Though I like #2 also very much. The peaces of wood give a great feel of depth and the colours really do work.

    Hi Rob,

These are very nice shots and you certainly had a better day here than I did at work!

Not that I;m jealous, mind you, but I would just make the following observations.
Shot.1 would it stand about 1 degree anti-clockwise?
Shot.2 I can't fault and is my favourite
Shot.3 might have been better with the camera panned a little more to left or right, so the headland didn't finish half across
No! Scrub that last comment; I can see why it is where it is, excellent, I have tried these myself and getting the timing right is harder than you'd think.

    Good series,

I can see why it's booked so far in advance. #1's my favorite. I'm a sucker for sweeping panoramas like that.

I think you are correct (again!) We will have to get your forum name changed to 'spirit-level'

Amended version. Looks better I think. Many thanks.

I like them all, but No. 2 is a real grabber.
