Another butterfly...
Not sure if the green is too bright, though those plants really are in natural...
C&C welcome

Re: Another butterfly...
Hi Brigitte,
The shot appears to be over exposed, I would guess by about one stop - all three channels are clipping on a histogram, this explains the impression of "too bright" and lack of texture in the whites.
I see this was shot with a Panasonic TZ25, nothing wrong with that beyond that as a consequence, you probably don't have a RAW capture from which to try to "rescue" the over exposure - I mention it as much so others don't suggest it.
Other EXIF data: 4.3mm probably = 24mm FFE (full frame equivalent), 1/125s at f/3.3 and iso 100.
If mine, I would crop this differently, I would lose about 15% width from the left edge and 10-12% height off the lower edge, so it places the subject more into the lower left corner than centre, tending to upper right, which, given its orientation, I think gives a more balanced image. There's no shame in cropping a bit in post processing for these subjects, they are often quite skittish, as I found shooting some over the Easter weekend - good capture, well done.
Hope that's helpful,

Gigi,
Good image, and what Dave said. Even if you don't capture RAW I think you can still salvage the image in PP.
Long time no see, glad to see you're still out there taking pictures.

Re: Another butterfly...
I would use a white balance dropper to determine if the whites in the wings are without a color cast. The butterfly is so important in this pic in terms of accuracy, I would make sure the whites are white and let the greens go where they may. If the greens seem accurate but feel overly bright and saturated, I would make the adjustments. These fixes can be done with jpegs if you have the software.

Re: Another butterfly...
It is nice composition though...a bit over exposed...but that's easily fixed in PP.
