The Poplar trees are starting to display their Autumn foliage here in Glen Innes at present, very pretty.

The 2nd one is a beauty, Edwin. The foggy background works better than blue skies any day IMHO. and I like the contrast between the radiatas and the poplars. You have also captured a nice wedge shape defined by the top of the tree line and the road. Good composition.

I prefer the mood of the second photograph even though the saturation is a little less (as it should be).
Reminds me of the time I drove from Armadale to GI a few years ago at a similar time of year. Lovely bit of Australia.
