    Port Glasses: The Slacker

    Look quickly, before it falls.

EDIT: It just now occurred to me that I should mention that I captured the scene as shown. Doing so took less time than would have been required to make a composite from two images, which also would have been easy to do.

Another nice shot Mike. Somehow, for me, a glass of port and cheese plate go hand in hand....

Funny, in you last post of glasses milling about, I was going to suggest one maybe laying down. This works too.

Check that thread out again, Frank. I added a photo with one laying down.

Another one that works Mike. You could sell these for display to a wine bar.

Sorry about that! Frank is the good friend that I finished writing a long email to immediately before posting the message to you. Sheesh!

No worries M̶a̶r̶k̶ Mike, just thought I'd bust your glass about it.

You don't think I already have enough broken glass? By the way, the pertinent section of my web site is now titled "Broken: A Pain in the Glass," thanks to your post a day or so ago.

Very nice composition, it has got some energy, so it doesn't look stand still. I also like the colours

I got so caught up in my conversation with Jack that I forgot to thank John. Thanks also to Binnur.

I think you are subconsciously trying to break a glass so you can use it in a composition too.

Another beauty! I especially like these sets for the unexpected position of the one glass.

For some reason I prefer this image without the glass on the far left hand side. I can't explain why... perhaps it is just a preference for symmetry or not.

I like symmetry, so long as it's not all even and perfect and stuff.

I also like symmetry, especially when it's asymmetrical.

And I appreciate the beauty and genius of your combining both in the image. I should mention that I saw several other beauties within this image.
