I agree with the others that you did well. I imagine that one of the inherent difficulties is that the terrain is flat; if there were rolling hills, you would be able to position yourself so nothing but plants would fill the frame. The other difficulty has to do with the issue that you apparently had to shoot down the rows of plants most of the time, capturing the dirt, rather than shooting across the rows, which makes it easier to select a perspective that eliminates the dirt.
