    Nice colours, sharp focus, but as Binnur said, the petal with water drops is in fierce competition with the stamens for attention.

    Werner, looking at the image it appears that the focal point is at the lower of the three stamens but there are just too many OOF water drops competing as already mentioned by Greg. Not sure what PP you have done but a bit of sharpening and contrast enhancement would help.

    it's more like an abstract. i was mainly interested in the tension between form and color.

    not bad for an 18-55mm lens, but there is a lot going on in the picture.
