A lovely setting, Edwin. You really have some lovely farmland down there. Not what we expected to see but we surely enjoyed it. We typically just see the images of red dirt and sun scorched scrub from Oz...

IMO the second shot is the better of the two. Nice lighting, smooth water, and an interesting sky. You'll have to post up a sunrise/sunset shot from that location for us

Thank you all for the feedback. I'll have to see if I can post a sunrise, sunset image as requested by you Dan. I'm afraid most people have the wrong impression of Australia. It's not all dry harsh land, that's mainly in the interior, but the coastal fringes are very fertile & green & good farming country.

I prefer the 2nd composition too Edwin. I like the way the banks of the river lead the eye into the distance on the right third.

Edwin, These are nice. Very peaceful. I drove through Glen Innes to and from Sydney over the last couple of weeks. I will post one of my pictures. Terrible coffee in Glen Innes though.
